TRIBUTES have been paid after a “dearly loved” man died while taking part in water activities on the weekend.

Greg Howes, 44, passed away on the River Yare in Norfolk after going missing on Friday 29 May.

His body was found shortly after on Saturday afternoon, with officers having confirmed his passing.

In a tribute his family said: “Greg was dearly loved by his family and loved spending time on the Norfolk Broads.

“At this sad time, his family would like to urge the public to take care and consider their safety when taking part in activities on the water on the Broads.”
