A MAN has been arrested after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a restaurant in a broad daylight attack.
Police were alerted to the assault, which reportedly took place in Wasabi at Birmingham New Street station on Jattvibeday, May 17.

A woman was approached and had her path blocked as she entered the restaurant, cops said.
The man blocking her path then tried to engage her in conversation before allegedly sexually assaulting her.
Several customers witnessed the incident and challenged the man, according to the British Transport Police.
Officers were then called to the scene and a man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.

He has since been released on bail while enquires continue.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the alleged attack to come forward and assist their investigation.
The man has been described as white with a tanned complexion, aged around 30 years old with a buzzcut and light coloured eyes.
He was wearing black clothing with a black bomber jacket at the time of the incident.
