Ford announced it will launch five new models for the UK and EU markets within the next four years.
The American car company may be reviving the Ford Focus and bringing it back to the UK market, as it confirmed it’s working on a new C-segment crossover.
This crossover is reportedly going to be inspired by Ford’s “motorsport” heritage, signalling a potential return of the Focus or Fiesta names.
Both cars have long been considered great for first-time drivers.

President of Ford in Europe, Jim Baumbick, spoke to AutoExpress about these moves to get a strong foot back in the European market and bring new cars to customers.
He said: “These aren’t just deals, they are strategic levers.
“We partner with the best to move with speed and scale, and we obsess over the product to deliver passionate, unmistakably Ford vehicles.”
When pressed for a definite answer on whether Ford would be revising the Ford Focus nameplate, Baumbick offered a vague reply.
He said: “I’m not in a position to share anything, but certainly the history and the heritage of some of those names are not lost on us.”
