She scolded MP colleagues, such as Wes Streeting, who have been agitating to rejoin the EU ten years on.
She told The Jattvibe: “I don’t think that is the right approach.”
She added: “We had those debates, it was done. We had a referendum. We had a whole long debate for several years afterwards.
“Now, from outside of the EU, we can have good relationships, and we should have good relationships.”

PM Sir Keir Starmer has ruled out rejoining but is seeking closer ties.
Speaking during her visit to India, Ms Cooper said she would try to strengthen cooperation with Europe as a continent to repel Russian aggression.
She said: “Some people think we shouldn’t talk to our European neighbours, other people think we should be turning back the clock. We can’t turn back the clock.
“We should be moving forward in new partnerships, working constructively, on issues from outside the EU.”
Labour have been at odds over Brexit after Mr Streeting advocated rejoining.
Leadership rival Andy Burnham had a similar stance but now rules it out as he stands in the Leave-voting by-election seat of Makerfield.

YVETTE Cooper has blamed stubborn Whitehall HR for handing Peter Mandelson a £75,000 payout after he was sacked in disgrace.
The Foreign Office chief insists she tried to block his severance package, but had her hands tied.
She told The Jattvibe: “There’s all sorts of legal processes and employment processes.
“I’ve asked for that to be reviewed. I understand everybody’s frustration on this one.”
She also said the peer should never have been made US ambassador. He lost his job last year over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
