CHEAP TICKETS: Booking early is usually the key to getting the best-priced tickets in the best spot.
Sign up to your favourite venue’s newsletter to be first in line for presale alerts and early-access windows before the general public.
It is also worth checking the Twickets app.
Twickets is the UK’s biggest fan-to-fan marketplace where tickets are always sold at face value or less.
MERCH SWAP: That £40 tour T-shirt is a bit of a rip-off. Instead, hop on eBay or Vinted ahead of the concert.
Fans often sell official merchandise they bought at another gig or earlier in the tour for half the price, and sometimes it is even unworn.
Another great option is to DIY your own.
Just get a plain T-shirt from Newlook.com for £5.99 and a fabric pen or iron-on transfer, and create a unique design for a fraction of the cost of the official tour T-shirt.
CUT THE NOISE: The Pleasing x Loop Experience 2 earplugs can help protect ears from loud noise at the gig and cost £34.95 at loopearplugs.co.uk.
But you can also order a pair of the similar Justrvn ear plugs at Amazon. co.uk for £8.47.
They deliver 25-30 decibels noise reduction and come with a handy carry case, too.
RAISE A TOAST: Ordering drinks inside the venue can be costly, with some arena bars charging up to £9.50 for a pint right now.
The smart move?
Make your own pre-drinks at home by filling a reusable plastic bottle with your favourite mixer to enjoy on the journey to the gig and in the queue.
Some venues also allow you to bring in sealed soft drinks, so check the website before you go.
PONCHO PLAN: Outdoor gigs and rain tend to go together, so prep ahead.
A disposable poncho at the venue can set you back around a tenner.
Instead, grab a reusable hooded rain poncho from Savers for 99p and keep it in your bag.
