JEREMY Clarkson was left “embarrassed’ after he lost a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire contestant £7K.

When Jezza, 66, took over the quiz show from Chris Tarrant, 79, in 2018, he introduced a new lifeline – but last night it proved disastrous.

The TV star, who recently launched the fifth series of his popular Prime show, Clarkson’s Farm, was back hosting Who Wants to Be A Millionaire.

However, on the latest episode Jeremy admitted to being left red faced.

It all happened when contestant Jamie Eidman, who was on course to hit the £7K mark, was stuck on a question about materials.

It came when Jeremy read out: “Which material is made by buffing the underside of animal hide to create a soft textured finish?”

However. after using up her 50/50 lifeline, she still couldn’t decide if the answer was “moleskin” or “suede”.

So, after choosing not to “Phone a friend”. she decide to “Ask the host”.

After mulling it over, Jeremy chose “suede” but this was the wrong answer.

Jamie tried to hide her disappointment, as it was revealed she had lost out on £7K.

However, poor Jeremy was devastated for her loss.

“Well that’s annoying and embarrassing,” he said after reading out the answer.

“Annoying for you, embarrassing for me. Because, yeah, suede is the correct answer.”

Continuing, the mortified star said: “Well, I can only apologise for that.”

Despite Jamie trying to tell Jeremy it was “fine”, he still felt bad.

“Well, it’s not fine, is it? Because you’ve just lost £7,000 and it was all my fault,” he said.

“But I tried my hardest and let you down. I’ve let myself down, I’ve let the show down. I’ve let the country down, I’ve let everybody down!

“And I’m embarrassed and I don’t know what to say other than you are leaving here, Jamie Eidman, with £1,000.”

Meanwhile, it’s not all doom and gloom for Jeremy, as The Jattvibe revealed yesterday how he had launched ANOTHER business venture.

The star has unleashed his very own cheeky take on the saucy website OnlyFans – Only Farmers.

However, Jeremy’s online service, which he kicked off two weeks ago, aims to connect people in rural areas, and isn’t for naughty content.

Created by the former Top Gear host, he is quoted on the site as promising anyone signing up can enjoy: “experiences in the countryside you never knew existed.”

But there’s nothing X-rated about the service, instead it takes on another web giant, Airbnb, by giving a platform to farmers to provide accommodation, tours and special events.

The website states: “The platform is built for bookable farm experiences: workshops, animal encounters, pick-your-own days, tastings, farm stays, private hire, and seasonal events.

“Only Farmers is launching with UK farms first, while welcoming visitors from around the world to discover the British countryside.

“From farm stays and family days to workshops, great food, animals, and events, book directly with the farmer.”

Only Farmers is the latest business set up off the back of his successful Diddly Squat Farm, which is where his hugely popular show Clarkson’s Farm is filmed.

Jeremy also has a lucrative farm shop, plus a pub called The Farmer’s Dog, which is near his farm.
