AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan and Delhi MLA Atishi on Tuesday met AAP Goa in-charge Deepak Singla, who is lodged in the Ambala Central Jail in a multi-crore money laundering case.The meeting lasted about half-an-hour amid police deployment on the prison premises, AAP sources said.Talking to the media after the visit, Mann condemned Singla’s arrest and termed it a politically motivated act.The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Singla on May 18 in an alleged multi-crore money laundering case arising out of a Rs 150 crore ‘scam’ in the Oriental Bank of Commerce.The arrest followed coordinated searches at multiple premises linked to Singla and several hawala operators across Delhi and Goa.It was the second time in two years that Singla faced action by the federal agency. The ED had raided him in 2024.
