Yes, you read that right.Born as George Garratt, the teenager adopted the superhero-packed title in 2008 through a legally recognised deed poll service in the UK, instantly attracting attention for what may be one of the most unusual names on record.According to reports, the idea began as a bit of fun. Garratt initially chose a superhero-themed name, but as friends kept suggesting additional characters, he continued adding them it became his official identity.The music student later said he wanted a name that was unique and unforgettable.Thankfully for those introducing him, friends reportedly shortened the lengthy title to simply “Captain.” Garratt said his family were not particularly surprised by the stunt, having long been accustomed to his sense of humour.His name references some of the most famous comic-book heroes, including Superman, Spider-Man, Batman, Wolverine, Hulk and Flash.
