And Wright, 62, got emotional when he joined Wright-Phillips and presenter Semra Hunter live on air.
The Arsenal legend hugged the New York Red Bulls icon before singing his praises.
Wright, who has been trying to end Roy Keane’s feud with Alan Shearer, said: “Look at you, son. It’s amazing. I love you, bro.
“I’m so pleased for him. I’m so pleased to be here. I can’t stop smiling. Gary Neville’s over there saying, ‘Look at your son, he’s amazing’.

Wright then revealed two-time Premier League title winner Thierry Henry played a key role in getting Wright-Phillips, 41, settled in the Big Apple after linking up with MLS side New York Red Bulls.
The ex-striker added: “I remember Thierry was talking to me about when Bradley got here and was still trying to find his feet.
