American traveller and creator Steve Yalo recently shared a video online of his interaction with an elderly woman selling pens in Delhi’s Connaught Place.Yalo stops to speak with the woman and buys two pens worth Rs 50 each. The woman’s smile and her warmth towards the influencer became the highlight of the clip, prompting an outpouring of positive reactions from the viewers. Many praised him for taking out the time to interact with someone despite the language barrier, saying it was as an act of pure kindness.One netizen commented, “Kindness speaks every language. Respect to the foreigner for helping an elderly woman.”While buying the pens, Yalo decided to help the woman and calculated the value of the remaining pens that came around Rs 900. Yalo realised that he had only Rs 550 left with him.
