A BUNGLING shoplifter with a haul of KitKats was trapped by a store door — forcing him to pass them through to his accomplice on the street.

The entrance had closed automatically as the two thieves tried to escape this week.

But only one made it out.

He was seen desperately trying to free his trapped accomplice.

The trapped shoplifter gave up trying to wriggle out and instead handed his chocs to the crook on the street.

A woman caught the antics on camera.

She laughed that the man outside appeared to have “wet himself”.

Inside, a member of staff seemed to yell that the police were coming.

The man inside eventually freed himself.

Both of the yobs then managed to escape.

The One Stop store in Sandford Road, Doncaster, declined to comment.

South Yorkshire Police was asked to comment.
