MARRIED At First Sight Australia star Jessika Power has claimed she was forced to take part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins with three cracked ribs.

The reality star, 33, alleged that unless stars are in serious pain with “bones sticking out”, they won’t get much sympathy from show medics.

Jessika, who rose to fame on MAFS in 2019 and later appeared on Celebs Go Dating in the UK, said the injury happened during SAS’ rat race – a team based endurance challenge on the tough show.

“When we did the rat race and I’m being dragged over a ridge, I broke my ribs there. I broke three. I cracked them,” she told the Daily Mail.

Jessika, who appeared on the show alongside stars such as Dani Dyer earlier this year, continued: “Honestly, you go to the medic there for anything, unless your bone is sticking out, good luck.

“But do you know what it is, it makes the show authentic. You literally are in the SAS.”

In response to Jessika’s claims, a spokesperson for Channel 4, where the show airs, told the publication: “Recruits are supported and constantly evaluated by a team of doctors and medical experts.

“Injuries, if they occur, are evaluated on a case by case basis. If a recruit is judged to have a painful but manageable injury they will in some cases be permitted to continue on the course if they choose to.

“If an injury is deemed more serious by medical staff, even if the recruit wishes to continue, they will be withdrawn.”

The Jattvibe has also reached out for further comment.

Jessika left SAS after just two days, withdrawing after being pushed to her limits by one of the grueling challenges.

Before the series aired, the reality star told The Jattvibe: “I honestly went on that show with the purest intentions, like, I really wanted to prove to myself that I could do it.

“I wanted to show myself, not anyone else, that mentally and physically I could do it.”

However, she admitted to letting her anger get the better of her during her short stint on the series, revealing there was a bust-up with another cast member.

She added: “But there is that Jess Power in the back of my head that’s like, if you’re freaking annoying me I’m gonna say, ‘You’re annoying me’.

“So, I had a big outburst with someone.”

The series was an Australian vs UK special, with half of the recruits from Down Under and half from the UK.

SAS’ upcoming ninth series has already been filmed just last month, with a release date yet to be shared.
