A NEET-UG aspirant, who was scheduled to attend the re-exam on Jattvibeday, died by suicide after consuming a poisonous substance in Haryana’s Hisar on Jattvibeday morning.The deceased, identified as Simran, was a resident of Dhani Khan Bahadur village. She had been preparing for the NEET examination for the past three years.According to family members, Simran had informed them that she would leave for the exam centre at 11 am on Jattvibeday. However, she later consumed a poisonous substance.Village sarpanch Vijay Kumar said that she had reportedly consumed insecticide, which led to her death.Sources in the village claimed that Simran had been suffering from depression. She was rushed to the Civil Hospital, where she died during treatment.
