Former West Ham and Tottenham boss Redknapp, 79, reckons it will come back to bite him if the Three Lions don’t go all the way in North America.
He admitted that there were players who he would have taken that Tuchel had omitted.
He said: “Yeah, but then if he’s right at the end of the day and we win the World Cup, who can argue with him?
“He will get all the credit. It will be fantastic for him and great for the country.
