The new branch will be the sixth concept store opened by the supermarket giant.

The latest Asda branch to welcome a stand-alone George concept store has been announced.
An Asda Living in Barnsley will now become part of the supermarket’s growing portfolio of dedicated fashion and lifestyle hubs.
Located on the Cortonwood Retail Park, the brand new store will open its doors on Thursday, July 9.
The existing branch will close from Saturday, June 28, while the 28,000 sq ft site undergoes its transformation.

Shoppers will be able to explore a huge variety of fashion and home ranges in the revamped branch, including an extensive line of George clothing for women, men and children.
Fashionistas will be able to shop the latest seasonal collections, including Yasmin Le Bon’s George fashion edit.
The concept store will also feature an expanded George Home offering, including bedding, bath, dining and home accessories.
Customers will also be able to pick up items from Stacey Solomon’s latest George Home range.
There will also be upgraded fitting rooms, more self-service tills and a streamlined parcel collection service.
The Barnsley store is the sixth standalone George store to open as the retailer continues to convert its Asda Living Portfolio around the UK.
George vice president, Karl Doyle, said: “We’re excited to bring our latest standalone George store concept to South Yorkshire and give local customers an even better way to shop our fashion and home collections.

The retailer recently opened a Maidstone branch this month as well as another store in Lincoln in May.
Other standalone George stores are located in Leeds, Hull and Peterborough.
