WORLD CUP broadcasters the BBC and ITV have confirmed which games each will cover in the first knockout round of the tournament.
With the Round of 32 coming thick and fast, ITV will air the first clash tonight between South Africa and hosts Canada.

As usual, games will be available to watch via ITV and BBC‘s TV channels as well as their streaming services ITVX and iPlayer.
The opening two knockout rounds of the tournament will be ITV’s, as South Africa take on Canada tonight at 8pm and Brazil face Japan on Monday June 29 at 6pm.
Coverage will then switch for the third game as the BBC takes the reins for Germany vs Paraguay on the same night 9:30pm.
Netherlands‘ tough clash with African champions Morocco on Tuesday June 30 will be aired by ITV at 2am as well as France vs Sweden at 10pm that evening, while the BBC takes Ivory Coast vs Norway at 6pm.

Into July, ITV will kickoff coverage with Mexico vs Ecuador on Wednesday July 1 at 2am, before showing Belgium vs Senegal on the same day at 9pm.
The BBC will air England‘s crucial last 32 meeting with DR Congo, also on Wednesday July 1, kicking off at 5pm.
And the Beeb dominate the coverage on Thursday July 2, as hosts USA face Bosnia at 1am and European champions Spain play Austria.
On Friday July 3, it’s arguably the game of the round as Portugal face Croatia at 12am, Switzerland then play Algeria at 4am before the BBC rounds off its last 32 coverage with Australia vs Egypt at 7pm.
