NEXT is launching its summer sale within days – but there are secret codes that reveal special bargains ahead of time.
The retail giant is due to launch its seasonal summer discounts next week, and shoppers are gearing up to grab a deal.

The beloved fashion chains gives exclusive online access to its VIP members before the sale is launched in-store, and it has been sending out invites.
The Next seasonal sales are always a hit with shoppers as it offers at least 50% off sale items, including reductions on brands like Adidas.
Although Next has not officially confirmed the date of the sale, Next VIP members have been taking to social media to share the details.
In a post shared on HotUKDeals, a shopper shared their slot was from Wednesday, July 1 at 2pm until Saturday, July 4 at 6am. The post was accompanied by a picture of their slot.

While another bargain hunter said: “Had email too, all booked.”

You can still spot secret codes and grab a bargain in-store even without a VIP slot.
In the past, savvy shoppers have devised a clever way to predict which items will be in the sale ahead of time.
Items are usually marked by staff in the days before the sale starts.
The codes are written in pencil on the price tag, and the numbers next to the letters generally indicate the sale price of the item.
Therefore, if you want to visit your local store and earmark a bargain, you should keep your eyes peeled.

Usually on the day of the Next sale, some stores open as early as 6am meaning some shoppers can be queuing in the early hours of the morning.
SIGN UP FOR FUTURE VIP SLOTS
To receive a VIP Sale invite you will need to have successfully opened a nextpay credit account ahead of any event.
So, it’s too late to become a VIP for this event, but you can always sign up ahead of the next one.
However, be careful when taking out a store card and make sure it is something you can afford to pay off.
Interest rates can be very high, so you need to make sure you can pay them off in full each month.
Otherwise, the amount paid in interest will counteract the savings you make in the sale.
All VIP sale slots are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and they’re restricted to one per customer.
Users have the best chance of getting amazing deals by accepting the first slot they’re allocated because things can sell out quickly.
As always, remember when shopping in any sale, it’s only a bargain if it is something you were looking to purchase anyway.
If you are buying because something is discounted, then you are not necessarily saving money.
