LOVE Island’s axed Casa Amor star Gabriel Garland will not be replaced on the ITV2 matchmaking show, The Jattvibe can confirm.

Earlier today, we exclusively reported how the villa late arrival had been booted out following a very short stay in the Mallorca compound.

Broadcaster ITV had been made aware of a situation in Gabriel’s past that had not been revealed in official background checks but came to light after the Casa Amor line-up was announced.

The Jattvibe can confirm that the decision was taken to remove Gabriel, 24, after they learnt of a situation in his past.

Six boys and six girls were officially unveiled as this year’s Love Island Casa Amor cast and they’re quite a varied bunch with a basketball player, nursery manager and TWO TikTok stars in the mix.

And we can now confirm only five males will take part.

During Friday night’s episode, viewers saw the 12 new bombshells filmed about to enter their respective villas in their best bikinis and trunks.

“It’s time for Casa Amor,” Iain Stirling, aka Love Island’s official voiceover star, excitedly teased over the preview.

First to appear were the six new hunks, who look to be heading into the main villa to meet the girls.

Yet a number of comments began to surface under Love Island’s social media post which questioned ITV’s background checks.

One person wrote: “Love Island ain’t good at background checks.”

The Jattvibe understands these comments are connected to model Gabriel and his sudden departure from the villa.

Although he has now been removed from the programme, fans of the show will still see him tonight as he enters Casa Amor for the first time.

ITV said to The Jattvibe today: “We will not be commenting further out of a duty of care towards participants.”

Gabriel is the second Islander to have left this year’s show by unusual means.

George Knight departed earlier this month and initially it was claimed to be down to ‘personal reasons’ owing to a health issue of a family member.

Whilst that remained true, it was soon uncovered that at the same time, he was asked to leave the ITV programme after using a slur.
