Becks, 51, was seen leading his mum onto Centre Court for the first day of Wimbledon.

The former England captain and his mother are regulars at the All England Club and can be seen together in the Royal Box virtually every year the tournament is played.

In footage published on the Wimbledon account, Beckham looked stern faced as he walked ahead of his mum up to Centre Court.

And that video led fans to conclude he’d probably rather be thousands of miles away watching the footie.

While a fourth screengrabbed a picture of Beckham from the video and captioned it: ‘”I’ve had to leave the World Cup for this??”’

Becks was seen smiling and putting his thumbs up as he attended England’s 2-0 victory over Panama in New Jersey at the weekend.

He was also present as Scotland’s World Cup dreams died with a thumping 3-0 loss to Brazil in Miami, where he owns the Inter Miami side Lionel Messi plays for.

Having also been at the England game against Ghana, it is yet to be seen whether he will be jetting to Atlanta in time for the huge last 32 clash against DR Congo.
