THE lavish home bought by Preston Davey’s evil dads weeks after the tragic tot’s murder is back on the market at a slashed price.
Jamie Varley, 37, and John McGowan-Fazakerley, 32, were arrested just days before moving into the new-build property in Grimsargh, Lancashire.

The sick couple had purchased the swanky five-bed home on August 18, 2023 – just over three weeks after 13-month-old Preston died.
But locals living on Chandlers Way in the quiet village had no idea the sadistic pair were being investigated for their part in his death.
Residents eerily recall Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley covering their drive and home with decorations at Easter, Halloween and Christmas.
They continued to live in the home, charming their unsuspecting neighbours, until June 2025, when they were rearrested and charged.

And after an initial sale in March fell through, the pad is now back on the market with a guide price of £370,000.
It is roughly £80,000 less than the depraved couple purchased it for just under three years ago.
The auction is being hosted by residential auctioneers iamsold, with an end date set for July 13.
A listing on the website chillingly describes the property, which includes five bedrooms and three bathrooms, as an “absolute MUST SEE”.
The description also tells potential buyers the property has “no chain delay” – with no mention of the previous owners’ twisted past.
However, other property sites, including Rightmove and Zoopla, reference the vendor “serving a custodial sentence”.
It reads: “The vendor is currently serving a custodial sentence following conviction for offences involving minors.
“It is understood that the offences were not committed at the property.

Varley and McGowan-Fazakerley‘s sick crimes were uncovered during a harrowing seven-week trial at Preston Crown Court.
After applied for adoption in 2021, the couple were assessed by Adoption Now – the regional agency covering Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
Just over a year later, in April 2023, baby Preston went to live with them – a move signed off by Oldham Council.
Preston endured months of sickening physical, sexual and emotional abuse while living with the pair, the court heard.
His short life was brutally cut short on July 27, 2023, when he suffocated during sexual abuse at the couple’s former Blackpool home.

Former secondary school teacher Varley initially claimed the youngster had accidentally drowned in a bath.
However, a post-mortem examination found Preston had suffered around 40 traumatic injuries.
Hours after his death, Varley was arrested on suspicion of child cruelty, murder and sexual abuse of a child under 13.
McGowan-Fazakerley, a sales manager for a finance company, was arrested on suspicion of causing and allowing the death of a child and neglect.
Police executed a warrant at their Lancashire address last June and the pair were both charged.
Following the subsequent trial, jurors deliberated for 13 hours before returning guilty verdicts.
Varley was convicted of murder, assault by penetration, sexual assault, causing grievous bodily harm and cruelty.
He was also found guilty of 14 counts of making or taking an indecent image and one count of sharing an indecent image.
McGowan-Fazakerley was convicted of causing or allowing the death of a child, cruelty and sexual assault.
Earlier this month, Varley was sentenced to a whole life order for Preston’s murder, while McGowan-Fazakerley was jailed for 25 years.
