SPAIN midfielder Yeremy Pino’s World Cup is over thanks to a shoulder injury.

The 23-year-old Crystal Palace playmaker thought he cracked his collarbone in the final group game with Uruguay.

And that would have affected the start of his Premier League season for the Eagles.

But further medical tests have revealed the extent of the injury is a sprain and he could be back training and playing in as little as three weeks – or a maximum of 12.

Head coach Luis de la Fuente sent the smart attacker into the fray on 66 minutes.

But when the injury happened he had maxed out his subs and could not replace the struggling starlet.

Pino had to finish the match, on the pitch, in clear distress and the early fears were the injury was a fracture.

Fuente said:  “It looks like Yeremy may have broken his collarbone.

“Tomorrow they are going to do some tests and we will see how far the injury is.

“The man is suffering a lot and the effort he has made is tremendous, possibly with a broken collarbone to hold on until the end of the match.
