Mahua Moitra, a Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP, was targeted with eggs outside an eatery in West Bengal on Wednesday.According to reports, the incident occurred as Moitra was leaving the restaurant after a visit. A group of protesters allegedly hurled eggs at her while raising slogans. Security personnel accompanying the MP quickly escorted her to safety, and no injuries were reported.The identities of those involved and the motive behind the protest were not immediately clear.
