Boney Kapoor’s daughter Anshula Kapoor will marry her boyfriend Rohan Thakkar on July 6, the veteran producer confirmed to IWMBuzz. According to him, the ceremony will merge customs from both families and be wrapped up within a single day, followed by a cocktail reception where guests have reportedly been asked to dress in “modern Indian” attire. Several familiar faces from the Hindi film industry are expected to turn up for the post-wedding celebration.The lead-up to the big day is already in motion. Rohan’s family hosted a Mata Ki Chowki on June 21, bringing together Anshula’s half-sisters Janhvi, Khushi along with cousin Shanaya Kapoor, all turned out in traditional outfits for the occasion. Anshula later posted about the evening, describing it as one steeped in blessings and dancing, and spoke about choosing a Phulkari dupatta for the event as a tribute to her Punjabi roots.Two days later, on June 23, both Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor took to social media to mark the occasion. Rohan proposed during a trip to New York, choosing Central Park as the setting, last July.
