The French side almost suffered a humiliating relegation to the second tier and now the Allianz Riviera could be braced for a major summer sale.
According to L’Equipe, Nice need to raise around £34million in player sales if they want to spend anything this summer.
That means new sporting director Roger Ricort has walked straight into a huge headache after being appointed on July 1.
Nice have already made one move after bringing in Laurent Abergel on a free transfer.

With Nice still up for sale and investment limited, the French side are now being forced to raise their own transfer pot.
Terem Moffi and Sofiane Diop are among the players they are especially keen to move on, with both understood to be on big wages.
Hicham Boudaoui, Melvin Bard and Mohamed Ali-Cho could also be sacrificed, with each capable of fetching more than £8.5m.
Meanwhile, Morgan Sanson, Kojo Peprah Oppong and Antoine Mendy may also depart.
