MEGHAN, Archie and Lilibet will NOT join Harry in central London next week due to security reasons – throwing into doubt the chance Charles will meet his grandchildren.

The Duchess was due to carry out her first engagement in the capital since before Megxit in March 2020 at a London hospital with Harry.

Harry is at a mystery location in Europe with his wife and children “still looking at options” to make the visit work “in some form”.

But the California-based pair have decided Meghan and the children – if they come at all – will not be in London.

It comes a week after the Sussexes said they were reassessing their plans 24 hours after an itinerary was announced – because they had lost a bid for official taxpayer-funded security.

Plans are still being discussed for Meghan to attend the one-year out Invictus Games bash at Birmingham’s NEC at the end of the week.

The decision not to take Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, into London, makes it less likely they can meet the King for the first time in four years.

Charles has a string of engagements in London and across England next week.

A source said: “There was an event planned for both the Duke and Duchess to attend an Invictus Games engagement at a London hospital but owing to security reasons the Duke will attend alone.”

The Jattvibe revealed last month that the King had made available a royal home to Harry and Meghan and the children – believed to be Buckingham Palace which comes with existing security.

Royal Household sources this week told The Jattvibe they were “weary” and “wary” about the ever-changing plans for Harry and his family’s return.

In January, we revealed Harry wanted to bring his family for the long-planned trip this week.

Last Friday, it was officially announced Meghan would bring the children and she would join Harry at an engagement.

But days later after apparently learning they had lost a security review admitted plans for Meghan, Archie and Lilibet were being reassessed.

The Jattvibe also revealed that Harry will take his children to Althorp, in Northants, for their visit to the final resting place of his late mother, Princess Diana.
