GREGGS has removed its Mexican sandwich range from sale in some shops for today only ahead of the England game.
The bakery chain has shown it’s serious about its support for England by taking its Mexican chicken baguette, oval bite and flatbread off shelves.

England are set to face Mexico at 1am in a highly anticipated knockout stage clash.
They’ll be playing at the Azteca stadium in Mexico City.
Greggs said the move was a “tactical shift” for today but it would be serving up its Mexican-inspired products once again tomorrow.
“Off sale” signs have been going up in stores ahead of kick-off.

The change will not affect Greggs stores in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Zoe Harris, customer director at Greggs, said: “It’s the first time in our history we’ve dropped a sandwich range, but duty calls.
“Nothing personal – it’s a tactical rotation and the gaffer’s call is final.
“To any Mexico fans reading this, no hard feelings – we’ve loved having you in the starting lineup, and you’ll be straight back off the bench come Monday morning. May the best team win!”
It comes as Mexico fans set off fireworks and turned up with a full band to try to disrupt the England team’s sleep in Mexico City.
England’s security team has insisted the attempts to give the squad a sleepless night had little to no impact.
