Anne Hathaway has showered praise on her The Odyssey co-star Tom Holland, saying she hopes her own children grow up to be just like him after playing his on-screen mother in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic.Speaking during a joint interview, Hathaway opened up about portraying Penelope, opposite Holland’s Telemachus, in Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey. When asked how she tapped into her “mother energy” for the role, the Oscar-winning actor didn’t hold back her admiration for Holland.”As a mom in real life, I very much hope all of my children grow up to be as wonderful as my onscreen child,” Hathaway said, gesturing toward Holland, who laughed at the compliment.Calling the actor a “dream son,” Hathaway added, “Tom is like a dream son. And that, honestly, is kind of the key to it. We have this amazing script and brilliant actors.”She also revealed that her fondness for Holland made filming together even more special.”I just really like Tom,” she said with a laugh, adding that she also shares a close friendship with co-star Matt Damon, who plays Odysseus in the film.Hathaway, who is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, announced her pregnancy in June.
