Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra looked back at the first direct message that sparked their relationship during the July 14 episode of the Jonas Brothers’ podcast, “Hey Jonas!”Joined by brothers Joe and Kevin Jonas, the couple revisited their first-ever exchange on X, which took place nearly 18 months before they began dating in May 2018.Nick explained that the spark began after Kevin asked if he had seen Priyanka’s show “Quantico”. He hadn’t seen the show, but soon after noticed her face on a billboard advertising the series and decided to message her.His first message said he had heard from mutual friends that they should meet and asked if she would be in Los Angeles anytime soon.Priyanka replied, “Hey. Graham’s told me so much about you. Let’s text. More private. My team can access this.”As Joe and Kevin dramatically read out the old texts on the podcast, Nick and Priyanka laughed at how awkward their first conversation sounded years later.The couple married in December 2018 and welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas in 2022.Nick’s Bollywood gossip confessionThe episode also featured a separate confession from Nick, who said one of his favourite parts of nearly eight years of marriage has been keeping up with Bollywood gossip.Priyanka teased that her husband is more invested in celebrity news than she is, recalling moments where she would ask someone to convey her regards to a celebrity’s partner, only for Nick to reveal that the couple had already split.When Joe and Kevin asked him to name the gossip accounts he follows, Nick declined but admitted he follows a few Bollywood gossip pages because he finds them entertaining.Priyanka was recently spotted at Wimbledon during Coco Gauff’s semifinal. She wore a beige outfit with a matching headscarf. It marked her fourth appearance at the tournament since 2021.Earlier, Nick and Priyanka attended Dior’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2026-27 show in Paris, shortly after Priyanka wrapped filming in Varanasi for her upcoming project with director SS Rajamouli and actor Mahesh Babu.
