That show has since been axed.
A source previously told us: “Sarah is delighted to be taking part in Strictly and is really excited to be learning a new skill.
“She is obviously very competitive and hopes to give the contest her all, while letting viewers get to know her personality.
“She’s also keen to embrace the glamour of the show and is looking forward to getting dressed up.”
Sarah was born with an under-developed left hand as her arm was tangled while in the womb and caused the defect.
Other Paralympians to have appeared include runner Jonnie Peacock, table tennis player Will Bayley, cyclist Jody Cundy and swimmer Ellie Simmonds.
The show will be presented by Emma Willis, comedian Josh Widdicombe and pro dancer Johannes Radebe, following the departures of Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
