NEWCASTLE have had a £46million bid for Lucas Bergvall turned down by Spurs.
It follows Nottingham Forest having a £38m offer for the Swede rejected earlier this month.

The midfielder, who played at the World Cup, was largely a back-up player during Roberto De Zerbi‘s successful battle against relegation last season.
De Zerbi has since splashed close to £200m on central midfielders Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes from Newcastle and West Ham respectively.
It means Bergvall’s opportunities will be even further limited this season, especially with Spurs not in Europe.
Bergvall snubbed Barcelona to join Tottenham in summer 2024 and won the Europa League in his first season in N17.
