Ed is a real-life magician and during his time on the show, he performed illusions while dispensing advice to the Bayside High students.
He was rarely seen without a deck of cards, often using his magic to reinforce life lessons for Zack and the group.
Ed starred alongside Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Zack Morris), Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater), Dustin Diamond (Samuel “Screech” Powers), Lark Voorhies (Lisa Turtle), Dennis Haskins (Mr. Belding), Tiffani Thiessen (Kelly Kapowski), and Elizabeth Berkley (Jessie Spano).
But now the star looks unrecognisable in new social media snaps.
He shared a photo of himself in front of an ice cream parlour in May wearing a white and blue striped shirt and a black cap.
Ed’s bio says he is an actor, comedian and magician.
He often shares clip of him performing his magic routines and photos from other telly appearances he’s made.
Ed popped up in US sitcom How I Met You Mother in 2012 and Modern Family in 2014.
He was also one of the magicians working on Michael Jackson‘s This Is It concerts as part of Jackson’s crew in the rehearsal which took place the night before the BIllie Jean singer’s death in 2009.
That same year, he worked with Britney Spears to create illusions for her The Circus Tour.
Ed’s also collaborated with other famous stars including Katy Perry and illusionist David Blaine.
