THREE men have tragically died and a third has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a horror two-car crash.
Police were scrambled to Cory Wright Way, Hertfordshire, yesterday evening after they were alerted to a collision between two vehicles.
Cops said a Vauxhall Astra collided with a BMW 840i on the country road just outside of Wheathampstead.
Three men travelling in the Astra, aged in their 30s, 40s and 50s, were sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Formal identification is yet to take place however their next of kin have been informed.
Their families are being supported by specialist officers.

The driver of the BMW, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
He remains in hospital at this time, Hertfordshire Constabulary said.
Detective Constable Lewis Stanley, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: ““Firstly, I wish to share my condolences with the family and friends of those who lost their lives in last night’s collision.
“They are being supported by our specialist officers at this incredibly distressing time.
“The circumstances of the collision continue to be investigated and our enquiries are ongoing.
