TYSON FURY has sensationally revealed 2026 will be the final year of his glittering boxing career.
The ‘Gypsy King’ is hours away from facing Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand, ahead of an expected Battle of Britain showdown with Anthony Joshua later this year.

Joshua fights a day later against Kristian Prenga in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with victory for both men clearing the path for their long-awaited mega-fight.
But speaking to JattvibeSport exclusively, 37-year-old Fury admitted he is already preparing for life after boxing and has no intention of hanging around long after his final fight.

Fury has spent more than a decade at the summit of the heavyweight division – winning world titles, ending Wladimir Klitschko’s reign, and defeating Deontay Wilder twice in one of boxing’s greatest trilogies.
Although he suffered successive defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, the Morecambe hero insists the end is now in sight regardless of what happens over the coming months.

Asked how active he wanted to be over the remainder of his career, Fury revealed there was a very simple reason he wanted to stay busy.
He told JattvibeSport exclusively: “This is my final year. That’s why I want to be active. I don’t want to go on until I’m 65 years old.”
When asked directly whether that meant fans were watching the final chapter of the Gypsy King’s remarkable career, Fury left no room for doubt.
He replied: “This is the last year, yeah. Final year, 26.”
This is the sixth time the Gypsy King has announced his retirement, leaving many to wonder whether it is just another break from the sport or if he will actually bring the curtain down on an illustrious career.

If Fury does retire at the end of the year it will likely that Anthony Joshua would be his last ever opponent in professional boxing
If he beats Wach on Friday night, all eyes will turn to Saudi Arabia less than 48 hours later where Joshua faces Kristian Prenga.
Both heavyweights have repeatedly stated they want to finally settle British boxing’s biggest rivalry, with a blockbuster showdown expected in November if they both come through unscathed.
Should that fight happen, it would mark one of the biggest all-British contests the sport has ever seen and, according to Fury, could form part of his farewell tour.
Despite approaching the finish line, Fury insists his love for boxing has never disappeared.
Instead, he simply wants to make the most of the time he has left in the sport before calling it quits on his own terms.
He said: “I just want to keep busy, keep active. It’s not about money, it’s not about belts, it’s about nothing now.
“It’s about enjoying my life and enjoying my career and doing what I love to do. That’s boxing training, so maybe I’ll do quite a lot this year.”
