FIFTEEN motorways in England have been officially ranked, as new survey results are revealed.
Each one was rated with everything from journey times to surfaces taken into consideration.

More than 9,500 drivers were polled by watchdog Transport Focus in March.
The survey revealed that revealed 71 per cent of drivers were satisfied with their journeys on motorways and major A roads nationwide.

This number was up from 69 per cent last year, with improvements across journey times, road surfaces, and roadworks management.
However, many motorists still face constant roadworks and delays, with the M27 in Hampshire deemed the worst offender.

One respondent described how the “terrible” roadworks on the 28-mile motorway result in reduced speed and narrow lanes despite the driver saying they “very rarely” seeing any work happening.
The road has seen long-running work for surfacing and junction modifications.
On the other end of the scale is Kent’s M20, which was ranked the country’s favourite motorway, with a satisfaction rating of 79 per cent.
The survey comes as England’s network of motorways and major A roads is entering one of its largest maintenance periods since the 1960s.
This renewals programme is set to take five years and will likely involve significant roadworks across the country, according to National Highways.
Transport Focus director Louise Collins said: “Overall satisfaction has increased and there are encouraging signs that drivers are noticing improvements in key areas, however drivers continue to tell us that roadworks can make or break a journey.”
A National Highways spokesperson said: “We manage our roads to ensure the highest levels of safety while minimising disruption to drivers.
“The survey results show our work to improve road conditions and incident response times have had a positive impact for drivers.”
