World No1 Littler is yet to play a single event in 2026 and only has eight left to get to the Minehead weekend.

Fortunately for Littler, he only needed 12 to reach it last year – and nobody looks like beating him right now.
The Brit, 19, broke records left, right, and centre at the World Matchplay as he averaged over 111 for the tournament.

He cruised past Price in the final 18-9 in Blackpool on Jattvibeday – despite the Iceman averaging over 104 himself.
And now Littler has admitted he will likely need shelve holiday plans if he is to get going in the Players Championship.
He said: “I feel like it’s the best version of myself throughout the week.
“It’s been very good, it’s been hard. I’ve just been playing so well.

“I don’t think my Dad is too happy because we were going to Spain.
“But I think we have to go to Leicester now and play some ProTours.It is what it is.”
The top 64 players on the Players Championship Order of Merit get a spot at the Finals comp in November.
Currently, the cut off is at Brendan Dolan on £22,750 in winnings. The champ of each individual tournament gets £15k.
Littler admitted that he would not be playing in either of the events in Hildesheim, Germany, this week.
But in August there are two in Leicester before a pair in Den Bosch, Netherlands, the following month.
Littler will then have the final two events at Leicester in November, three weeks before the finals, to try and qualify.
It means there is still plenty for him to do – but in this form it might not take him long.
Speaking about chasing down the majors yet again, he said: “Going into the tournament I’d won every major so far.
“I know there’s four in Leicester I have to go. If I don’t qualify I’m going to get grilled.”
Littler won the Players Championship last year after being defeated by Luke Humphries in the final 12 months earlier.
Now he has every major under his belt and is racking up most for the second time round already.
