In a major crackdown following Operation Hard Ball, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has declared 30-year-old Indian national Amritpal Singh, from Punjab, “wanted”for his alleged involvement in an international drug trafficking network.US authorities said Singh is allegedly associated with the Ravinder Dhanda Organized Crime Group, which is based in Vancouver, Canada.According to investigators, the group allegedly smuggled large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine across the United States, Canada and Mexico.Singh is accused of conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substances with intent to distribute, as well as conspiracy to export controlled substances.On June 23, 2026, a federal arrest warrant was issued against Singh by the US District Court for the Central District of California in Los Angeles.Authorities described the case as significant, citing the scale of the alleged smuggling operations and the international reach of the organisation.Singh remains wanted by US federal law enforcement agencies, with efforts underway to trace his whereabouts and dismantle the network’s operations.The FBI’s Most Wanted list includes fugitives considered dangerous or allegedly involved in serious crimes such as murder, drug trafficking, extortion and organised crime. Being placed on the list makes Singh a priority target for law enforcement agencies worldwide.The group with which Singh is allegedly associated is based in Vancouver and has been linked to smuggling large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine across the US, Canada and Mexico.Investigators alleged that Dhanda’s network used confidential informants and undercover operations to facilitate and monitor drug shipments. Between 2023 and 2024, more than 948 pounds of cocaine was allegedly trafficked across international borders.The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and the FBI jointly targeted the Dhanda, Bishnoi and Bhagwanpuria gangs under Operation Hard Ball, leading to the dismantling of parts of their leadership structure and the arrest of multiple members since June 23.
