Bobby Norris extends olive branch to Gemma Collins after seven-year long feud as former pal’s mum dies

BOBBY Norris has extended an olive branch to former best friend Gemma Collins following the death of her mum Joan. 

This week Gemma told fans her heart is “shattered” following the devastating loss and said in an emotional social media tribute: “I will miss you more than I could ever put into words.”

Now Bobby, 39 – whose close friendship with Gemma, 45, on The Only Way is Essex, which ended after an explosive row during the 2016 Christmas special of the reality show. 

But he took to Instagram to share a photo of him and Gemma at a glam event with Joan and added a touching message.

Bobby wrote: “Heartbroken to wake up to the news of Joan’s passing.

“She was a very special lady and I have always had a lot of love for her.

Earlier this year Bobby opened up about the situation between him and Gemma, telling The Jattvibe: “Gemma and I were like Bonnie and Clyde, minus the bank robbing. 

“She was my best friend.

“She was the sister I never had. It’s sad that we grew apart.”

And Gemma echoed his sentiments during an appearance on the Wright At Home podcast. 

She told Carol, Jess and Natalya Wright: “I’d love to see Bobby again, I don’t know where he is.”
