TWO bikers were rushed to hospital after a major collision, with the air ambulance called to the scene.
The incident took place near Glossop on the A57 Snake Pass – one of the highest roads in the Peak District – on 4pm on Saturday.

Emergency services were called to the site and part of the road was cordoned off.

The other rider was a man in his 70s, who escaped the crash without suffering serious injuries.
A spokesperson for Derbyshire Police said: “We were called to a report of a collision between two motorbikes on the A57 Snakes Pass close to Glossop just after 4pm today.

“Both riders were taken to hospital for treatment.
“A man in his 20s is understood to have sustained serious, but not life-threatening injuries, and a man in his 70s is not believed to be seriously hurt.”
