IT was a case of “Traitors Ready” during filming of the latest Celebrity Gladiators.
When comedian Chris Ramsey suffered a leg muscle injury he had to turn down a challenge requiring him to run a substantial distances, called Unleashed.

So in a shock twist, producers threw the crowd a curveball by drafting in Harry Clark, who won The Traitors in 2024 after proving himself a master game-player.
An insider said: “The audience where the show was being filmed at Sheffield Arena were enthralled by the turn of events and were thrilled when it was announced he was stepping in.

“He got a huge round of applause when he appeared in his lycra too.
“Though there were a few chuckles too when the former soldier emerged with a bandage on his hand and explained he’d suffered a minor injury making a cup of tea.

“He said he hoped he could hold his own and do Chris proud, however.
“It means it will be the first Celebrity Gladiators show featuring five celebrities rather than the usual four.”
It’s not clear if Harry was a celebrity on stand-by or if he just happened to be in the arena when the emergency unfolded on Friday.
Chris didn’t have to pull out of the competition entirely and was able to return to continue the other challenges, because most of them were unlikely to affect his hamstrings.
I exclusively revealed last week how Chris had joined the line-up alongside AJ Odudu and George Clarke.
Last week the BBC confirmed the fourth contestant would be presenter Sara Pascoe.
But there was no hint that Harry, who duped close pal Mollie Pearce to win The Traitors, was involved in Gladiators.
Always full of surprises, isn’t he?
STAR DUO ON HUNT FOR LOVE

MOST of the stars who take on Celebrity Hunted end up falling out as they crack under the pressure, but Sophie Morgan and JJ Chalmers fell in love instead.
The presenters paired up for the latest series of the Channel 4 show, which sees groups of celebs go on the run to try and avoid being captured by a team of ex cops.
But they got more than they bargained for after sparks started to fly – and they’ve been romantically involved ever since filming last year.
Sophie and JJ faced an uphill battle as the only disabled duo taking part.
Ahead of the show, which starts tonight, Sophie said: “Between us, we have one working body! But we do think that might play to our advantage because the Hunters underestimate us.
“We know how to have a good time, we get to have a lot of fun and be a bit naughty.”
LOVE Island runners up Jasmine Muller and Kavan Murphy had their first UK date at the Doctor’s.
On today’s Newly Parents with Jamie and Sophie podcast Kav said: “I had this abscess on my stomach. Jaz is sitting watching me. I’m screaming, that was our first date in the UK.”

MARC WARREN loves his Van Der Valk wardrobe so much he wears it – even when he’s not filming the detective series.
The show returned to ITV last night, and Marc told BBC Radio 5: “I actually wear the clothes that he wears, I can’t remember the name of the company but they’re based in the Netherlands.
“He mainly wears a blue pallet, I have blue eyes so I guess that kind of helps and the blue of the canal that’s reflecting off it – you’ve got to take all that you can get these days!”
And like his character Marc says he’s a loner on and off set and has only once met up with fellow cast members while filming.
He said: “I don’t go anywhere out there unlike the others . . . in four years I’ve met up with the cast once!”
ANOTHER RUN FOR NESBITT?

THRILLER Run Away has become one of Netflix’s biggest hits of the year with more than 50 million views.
And best-selling author Harlan Coben loved the characters so much, he wants to pen another story.
In the drama James Nesbitt plays a father whose daughter runs away and gets hooked on drugs and he ends up involved in a dangerous murder investigation.
He is helped by a private eye, played by Ruth Jones.
Annette Badland, who played tech whizz Lou in the show, revealed on the A Night In With Sally Lindsay podcast: “Harlan wanted to write a sequel because he liked the characters. But he killed Ruth Jones off so he has talked about a prequel.”
She added: “I’d have to have a lot of CGI.”
