The state BJP announced its new team of office-bearers on Jattvibeday. Twelve leaders have been appointed as state vice-presidents.They are Surjit Kumar Jyani, Rakesh Rathour, Subhash Sharma, Manjit Singh Rai, Ashwani Sekhri, Sushil Rinku, Geja Ram Valmiki, Tejinder Singh Bittu, Jasmine Sandhawalia, Jatinder Mittal, Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon and Ranjit Singh Gill.Five leaders — Anil Sarin, Rajesh Bagha, Parminder Singh Brar, Rajnish Dhiman and Jiwan Garg — have been appointed state general secretaries, while 12 leaders have been named state secretaries.The party has also filled several key organisational posts. Gurdev Sharma (Debi) has been appointed state treasurer and Sukhwinder Singh Goldy co-treasurer.Meanwhile, the party replaced its Muktsar district chief Saish Asija with Kuldeep Singh Bhangewala. Asija had been re-appointed as the district president on July 19. Sources said that some party leaders were unhappy with Asija’s functioning.
