Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming spy comedy Udta Teer will now release on October 9, pushed from its earlier date of September 11. The film arrives a week after Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3, which opens on October 2.Backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, Udta Teer marks the second time Ayushmann and Sara share screen space after Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, which also featured Rakul Preet Singh and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film is written and directed by Akash A Kaushik in his feature directorial debut, with Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain producing.Plot details have been kept under wraps, with the makers expected to share more information closer to release.Ayushmann also has Sooraj Barjatya’s Ye Prem Mol Liya in the pipeline, where he stars alongside Sharvari under the Rajshri Productions banner.
