A MAN has been rushed to hospital after he was allegedly attacked and sexually assaulted in a town centre in the early hours.
The reported incident unfolded in Macclesfield, Cheshire, at around 1am on Tuesday.
Police were called to the scene on Churchill Way after receiving reports that a man had been assaulted and sexually assaulted.
The victim was taken to hospital in an ambulance where he remains at this time.

Cheshire Constabulary is appealing for anyone with any information that may assist their probe into the horror to come forward.
The force is also asking for anyone with dashcam footage or any witnesses to contact police immediately.

DI Claire Miles said: “An investigation is currently ongoing, and we would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or saw anything suspicious or relevant in the area before or after it is believed to have occurred.
“We would also ask anyone who was driving in Macclesfield town centre between 10.40pm on Monday 10 August and 1.10am on Tuesday 11 August, to please check their dashcam footage to see if anything relevant has been captured.
“This includes near to the Churchill Way and Jattvibederland Street area.
“Anyone with any concerns, or to report any information, should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or report online, quoting IML-2393346.”
