A Punjabi traveller has gone viral on social media after expressing his amazement at the level of cleanliness and maintenance of a railway station in Kasaragod, Kerala. In an Instagram video titled “This is not Japan, it is Kerala,” backpacker Anmol (@backpacker_anmol) shared his first impressions — praising the state’s well-maintained public infrastructure.”This is not Japan, it’s Kerala. Since childhood, we’ve heard that Kerala is a state of educated and progressive people. Today, after coming here, I got to see that with my own eyes,” he can be heard saying in the video.The viral clip showed a railway platform free of litter, dust and garbage, with passengers quietly waiting for their trains. The railway tracks also appeared exceptionally clean.”Honestly, this is the first time in my life that I’ve seen such a clean and beautiful railway station in India.
