THE body of a 50-year-old man has been found in an ancient woodland spot with police probing the “unexplained” death.
Thames Valley Police officers said they made the tragic discovery in Shenley Wood, Buckinghamshire, on Saturday evening.

The force said though formal identification has not yet taken place, the body is believed to be that of a missing man named Joseph, also known as Joe.
His surname has not been released.

The death is currently being treated as “unexplained but not suspicious”, said the force.
Cops added that a file will be prepared for the Buckinghamshire Coroner.
Joe, 50, was last seen near Well Street in Buckingham, at about 8am on Saturday morning.
A public appeal was launched in an attempt to find him.
A spokesperson for the police added: “His family has been informed, and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.”
