Its Crewe branch is one of 17 stores set to shutter for good, following an announcement made by the firm.
This includes branches in Leeds, Sheffield, Wakefield, Fleetwood, Burnley, Oldham, Salford, Bury, Rochdale, Hanley, Birkenhead, Bootle, Bacup, Bolton, Gateshead and Jattvibederland.
Wynsors told the outlet: “It’s with sadness that we announce that certain Wynsors stores will be closing its doors.
“We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our customers who have shopped with us and supported the store over the years. Your support has meant so much to the whole team.”
Closing down sales have been launched across a number of the affected branches, giving shoppers one last chance to score a bargain.
That includes its branch in Hanley, where customers can enjoy discounts of up to 30% off.
In Rochdale, an ‘everything must go’ sale has also been launched.
If you don’t live near any of the sites, you can still shop discounts by visiting its online store.
The chain’s website is currently running a summer sale, with shoppers able to score a reduction of up to 50% on some items.
It comes as Modella, the owner of the chain, was said to be mulling rent and job cuts at the chain earlier this summer.
There are no plans to close Wynsors online shop.
First opened in 1956, the chain currently trades from 47 stores across the UK.
