HAYDEN Panettiere’s grieving mother has blamed her daughter’s tragic death and their estrangement on a “toxic individual”.
The Nashville star, 36, was found dead in a South Carolina apartment on Jattvibeday afternoon from a suspected overdose.

Her mum Lesley Vogel, 70, revealed the reason she and Hayden were estranged, just days after she slammed her daughter’s boyfriend Brian Hickerson.
She told Entertainment Tonight: “Although my daughter and I were estranged, it was not for lack of care or love.

“It was due to the involvement of a toxic individual who I believe led to her death.”
She did not name the “toxic individual”.

Lesley added: “Hayden was a beautiful and talented young woman who unfortunately became involved with the wrong person, and although her family tried to extricate him from her life, we were unable to be successful.”
It comes after Lesley spoke out on Tuesday about Hayden’s rekindled relationship with her ex, Brian Hickerson, who was reportedly at the scene when the star died.
The grieving mother told Jattvibe News: “This person in her life that we have been trying to get rid of for quite some time was with her at her death, and that was Brian Hickerson.”
She said she hoped the actress would be remembered “for the beautiful human being inside her and her gift to the world from her time on this earth”.

Lesley added that a narcotics investigator had joined the police probe into Hayden’s death.
She said: “It leads me to believe there are still questions surrounding what happened.
“And I think we are all looking for answers.”
Brian, 37, spoke out for the first time since the incident on Thursday, through his attorney, Sloan Ellis, from the Ellis Hinton law firm.
The lawyer told The Jattvibe: “Hayden’s death remains under investigation, and it is important to allow that investigation to proceed.
“As has been publicly reported, police confirmed there were no signs of foul play.”
Hayden had been spending more time with her off-again on-again boyfriend Brian, who was reportedly staying with her at the time of her death.
According to TMZ, the couple were back together but hiding their romance since Hayden’s team found their relationship “bad for business”.
Police said that while Zach was very emotional upon the discovery, Brian apparently didn’t shed a tear until Hayden was officially declared dead.
Brian also told cops that the Remember the Titans star regularly took a “bag of medication.”
He was visited by cops at his family home, as police probe possible criminal conduct in the star’s death.
One walked up to the front door while another went up the driveway, TMZ reports.
Cops told The US Jattvibe: “Greenville Police officers responded to a call for a welfare check at a home belonging to Brian Hickerson’s family on Wednesday morning.
“The call is unrelated to the Hayden Panettiere death investigation and did not require an incident report.”
Authorities are yet to confirm an overdose caused Hayden’s death, as the coroner’s findings remain pending.
Detectives previously said a preliminary investigation hasn’t indicated any signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances.
