A theft was reported at the Anganwadi Centre in Ferozwal Mangal Singh village under the Dharamkot subdivision of Moga district, with miscreants decamping with ration supplies and electronic equipment.According to Anganwadi worker Sarabjit Kaur, the thieves stole several sacks of wheat and rice meant for children and nursing mothers registered at the centre. They also dismantled and took away an LCD screen installed on the premises.The burglars allegedly attempted to break open an official almirah but failed. Before fleeing, they reportedly ripped electrical switchboards off the walls, damaging the wiring.The matter was reported to the local police, who have launched an investigation. Police are examining CCTV footage from the village and nearby areas to identify and trace the culprits.
