Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister Uzma Khan revealed that the cricketer-turned-politician had been subjected to “cruelty” and severe isolation in jail.Speaking at a press conference alongside Imran’s personal physician Dr Faisal Sultan in Islamabad following his medical examination at PIMS Hospital, Uzma alleged that Imran compared his detention conditions to those of former Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi.She said she was initially told he would be taken to the Shifa hospital for a complete examination. Uzma said Imran repeatedly told her that he had been subjected to “cruelty” and complained of being kept in solitary confinement with little human contact. She said Imran also complained that prison doctors ignored his concerns about his health.
