ASTON VILLA suffered a nightmare start to the Premier League season after conceding FOUR goals in their opening 30 minutes.

Unai Emery’s side are looking to build on their fourth-place finish from last season.

But they were in for a rude awakening on their return to Prem football as they were dismantled almost immediately by Fabian Hurzeler’s Brighton.

It took the seagulls just eight minutes to break through thanks to Victor Lindelof’s calamitous own goal.

Maxim De Cuyper added a second 10 minutes later to put the hosts in control.

And Jack Hinshelwood put the home fans in dreamland as he added two more goals in as many minutes to make it 4-0.
