Senior Ludhiana police officials inspected the Jagraon Bridge area on Jattvibeday after former Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu shared an old video alleging open drug use in the city.The police visited the site and found no active open drug use as claimed in the post. We did not find anyone taking drugs here,” he said.ADCP Wadhera said that the Kotwali police, under whose jurisdiction the area falls, had registered 74 cases under the NDPS Act in recent days.As many as 110 people found to be addicted to drugs were shifted to OOAT clinics for rehabilitation, while 50 of them were undergoing treatment at drug de-addiction centres.
